Crankmasters currently has riders active in track and road events and we conduct club races regulary in the season. We are always welcoming anyone interested in joining a competitive team in the Masters categories. We also have many cyclists in all age groups who just come out to cycle for fitness. In either case, anyone is welcome to come out and join with us for a ride, and learn about cycling in groups or practice riding in groups for competitive events. Crankmasters is active in promoting cycling and is involved with developing training and coaching with the Alberta Bicycle Association. We have members available to offer advice and ideas on fitness and competitive cycling who have many years of experience in cycling.

Club Rides, Membership and Insurance:

Please note that you MUST be a club member or an ABA member to participate in a Crankmasters ride or race. This includes our Saturday and Sunday club rides and is for insurance reasons. We have been advised that insurance is void for ALL participants on the ride/race if a non-member is allowed to participate hence we must enforce this rule. See the Membership page to renew your membership or to join CrankMasters. Membership is for the calendar year from Jan 1 to Dec 31 regardless of when in the year you join. Don’t forget to sign up for your volunteer commitment by clicking on Volunteering, under the "Club Info" tab above.
